Night Light feature actually seems to be all day (and night) long light as it never turns off as long as the device is connected to a outlet. It emits a faint blue glow that can be seen even during daytime with ease.

There is no USB cable included but seriously: is there anyone without one (or ten) lying around these days? I'd say this is just a sensible thing to do to reduce the amount of stuff we consume. Device says it outputs 5V and 2A so it should be able to charge all your mobile devices within a reasonable amount of time.

It is mostly plastic but overall feeling is rather solid and given its dimensions you can fit another device to the next outlet while using this on the another.

This is like third or fourth time I have ordered these. It is amazing how people first don't understand why anyone would need or want one but eventually they even ask for one. I can reach all parts of my back just fine with only my hands but that is not the case for everyone it seems.

There seems to be a little difference from my older ones to the newest batch:

• not that shiny metal anymore but still decent
• clip on the other end is slightly different
• extends little longer: DX says the maximum length to be 51 cm but my ruler says little over 55 cm but less than half a centimeter longer when retracted.

Last pair of earphones from the shipment that arrived today. And unfortunately we are back to the hollow sound. So these are heading to trash too.

These earphones are the best so far that I have ordered from DX. But if you have read the previous posts you know that is not very much said.

I seem to have quite large ear canals and was glad to find two pairs of spare rubber pads available to be changed if necessary. After that the sound is actually not that bad and earbuds stay on my ears! The hollowness plaguing last three pairs of earphones is nowhere to be heard and even the bass seems to be more nicely in balance.

There are even L and R markings on the earphones describing what goes where. That was not the case on the previous earphones.

One odd thing to mention is that the wiring goes from the right side of your neck to the left ear and not the usual other way around. Also the built quality doesn't look too sturdy but is it ever on earphones?

HSL-710 Universal 3.5mm Plug In-Ear Earphone w/ Microphone - Black

I don't need an expensive hi-fi system to enjoy my music but so far there has only been a disappointment after another and unfortunately this pair of earphones is no exception to that. Sound is as bad as it was with the last two pairs: hollow with too much bass. No need to go into any details of built quality or anything else as these are third earphones to go straight into a trash bin.

Second pair of earphones

HSL-300 3.5mm Plug Hi-Fi In-Ear MP3 Earphone - Black + Silver

If there were better earphones coming they definitely weren't these. Sound is again hollow and bass still too dominant. I'd also say there is some differences between the balance between ears. Only positive thing that I can think of must be that these are already sold out on DX so nobody can buy these anymore.

On a side note: when DX lists an item to be sold out it usually means it is gone for good despite the text: "Item is temporarily sold out". Of course there are exceptions to that but don't count on it.

First earphones arrived

Now a week has passed since those earphones arrived and I don't have anything positive to tell you. The sound is by far the worst I have ever heard from earphones. It is very hollow and bass is way too dominant. Wiring on the left ear also seems to be a little loose. But given the price of under 4 USD you pretty much can't expect that much.

I have to strongly disagree with DX's Customer Reviews on this one. These earphones are not worth even a one star. Hopefully I have better earphones coming...

Case of lost earphones

After several months since I had last seen my earphones I started to think they were gone for good. As I wasn't in a rush to get new pair to deliver audio to my ears I thought to give DX's selection a try. After some digging around the site I had narrowed it down to following:
